I tend to avoid any topic that seems to bring out the confrontational side of others. I am a peacekeeper / people pleaser to my heart (and most often, to my detriment). I keep my opinions to myself, regardless of how strongly I may feel them, in order to avoid coming across as preachy or closed minded. I also don’t want to alienate potential buyers of my fiction, or clients for my coaching and consulting services.
But then do I come across as not having taken a stand? As if I’ll fall for any and everything? Do I seem uninformed? Willfully ignorant of the world around me?
Anyway, as I contemplate those and other similar ideas, I’d like to share with you a video. It’s long, but I think well worth the conversation (emphasis on conversation) / discussion and thoughts it provoked from me and some of the other people I’ve shared it with so far. I couldn’t remember if I’d posted it on the blog before or not, so forgive me if it’s a repeat. But then again, some messages (apparently) need to be spoken again, and again, and again, and again…
Sending prayers, love, and light that we may all live to see fear-, ignorance-based, and mindless hate subside the world over.
