Two hundred and WHAT? A hundred and WHAT over WHAT?

My visit to the doctor for my yearly physical was an eye opening experience. I knew I’d gained weight since falling off my program last October. And in the grand scheme of things I’m just a few pounds over where I was when I started last May and I’d only lost seven pounds over the four months I was working at it. So while I knew the weight was up, I had no idea my blood pressure had gotten to the pre-hypertension phase.

Now mind you, the night before I’d had a plate full of ranch flavored hot-wings (with ranch for dippin’) and fries. There’d been a reduction in staff the day before so yeah, there were a couple of contributing factors to both the weight and the blood pressure being a touch elevated.

But now, here’s the deal. I just so happen to be going through the Design It Yourself workbook proof. So, instead of freaking out, I reminded myself of some key points on how I can work it so the weight begins to drop and my blood pressure doesn’t cross that line.
